Sweet Emotion

These are things I'm thinking about:

*When I am deep in project mode, I don't have time to blog. When I'm not in project mode, I have plenty of time to blog but nothing to blog about. I have been deep in project mode; my camera is full and I will have a project post coming soon.

*I am happy beyond words about the return to blogging of my friend. I've missed you and your blog!

*We saw Cars 2 last night. When I kept seeing all the bad reviews for it I assumed that people were just being silly and overly critical. They were not. It was awful.

*If there was such a thing as a Nobel Prize in Haircutting, my stylist should win it. She is a master with cutting my harder-than-average-to-cut hair and manages to make me look like I'm not a backwoods hillbilly who has literally been living under a rock....which is what I looked like all summer while she was living out of town.

*My daughter wants to be a Princess and I'm ok with that.

*We never watched Lost when it was on, but decided to start watching it on Netflix about a month ago. We may or may not be on season 5 now...

*One of the most ignored directions in our church--at least in our particular stake--is not giving both members of a couple busy callings.

*I mean no disrespect to anyone that chooses differently....but in my opinion, choosing not to find out the gender of your baby via Ultrasound is so arbitrary. To me it is like saying, "I'm don't want you to tell me what it is when it is born. We have chosen to wait until it is 9 days old and then we'll look and be surprised!" The baby is what it is whether you find out while it is inside your or out. Not looking for a random amount of time so you can be surprised is something I don't understand.

* I never have things to blog about. I wish that stopped me.

* Same Same!

* It's wrong that I have issues they named her Holly Shiftwell, right?

* Season 5? Heh...

* That will never be an issue with us...I've never had a busy calling in my life. I'm pretty sure I'm too opinionated for that.

* Heh. We didn't find out. Mostly just to piss other people off though, since everyone was telling us "we HAVE to find out!" Oh yeah?. Lets not discuss what that says about me.

I've thought about it and I'm not sure if I want to find out . . . but mostly for the same reason . . . to drive people up a wall. On the plus(?) side, every day I become more certain that I will have good company with me in hell.

We're on baby #5 and I haven't found out the gender on any of them until they are born. Initially, I didn't have any opinion, but now my reasoning is I like to be surprised at the end of labor and delivery. It makes all of the pain and agony so much more worth it to me. But any way you look at it, it's a surprise whether you find out at 20 weeks or 9 months. :)
