The Messed Up Truth

Keane, Death Cab for Cutie and Depeche Mode. What do they have in common?

They all made better music before rehab.

Let me be clear...I wish them all the best in their new, straight and clean lives, I just don't appreciate the tunes.

HA! (ditto to Tawnya) Oh man, you know some music I enjoyed more too before I was clean. Was the music that good or was my mind just altered? hmmmmm

Something must be wrong, because I can't get this comment page to come up part of the time. Not just your, any of them.

It's the same with Steven King... It's VERY obvious which books were written when he was using and when he wasn't. Using = awesome, not = boring and dull. Same goes for a majority of artists, though.

One of my classes that I'm doing this semester, (and just finished an exam for) is called Drugs Across Cultures, which examines the differing pharmacology and acceptability of the different drugs and how/when they're used in different countries. Quite cool. Also repeatedly highlights the fact that with the regulations that we currently have today, if marijuana and tobacco were both brought before the FDA for example as new drugs, MJ would get passed with flying colours and tobacco would be rejected outright and possible charges brought up on the person that put it forward for a viable drug.

Anyways... that's all for now. Maybe I'll go put a post on my blog...
